Candle Making & Wine Tasting

This is a unique event that combines Candle-Making and Wine Tasting. Participants (ages 21+) will enjoy a variety of wine samples & light snacks while creating a customized fragrant, hand-poured 6 ounce candle. (Larger candles can be selected for an additional cost upon arrival) LYB's CEO, Lisa Hudson-Durham will discuss the candle making industry and guide participants through the candle-making process. You will learn how to properly place the candle wick, discover the various wax types, and learn the proper technique for adding fragrance.

Love Your Body Start Up Story & LYB Bath Bar sample

All supplies needed to curate a custom 6 ounce candle (wax, wick, fragrance, candle vessel)

Light refreshments & music (Wine available for ages 21+)

 5 Step Candle Making

1. Select the vessel 
2. Prep the vessel 
3. Curate the fragrance blend for the candle 
4. Mix the newly created fragrance blend with hot Soy wax 
5. Pour the mixture into the vessel 
6. Pick up the candle after 24 hours
